About Amanda Jane

  • Amanda‚Äôs primary medical interests are in Natural Childbirth, Maternal Depression, and Substance Misuse Disorders in Pregnancy. She received her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY in 2017. Amanda previously graduated from the International School of Midwifery in Miami, FL as a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and attended out-of-hospital births from 2006-2015. Amanda originally became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 1999, working primarily in hospice and home health.
  • She enjoys baking, walking at Iris Gardens, and spending time with her family. She is inspired by her son and mother, and hopes to help her son achieve his dream of becoming a pilot.
