Tandem Health Earns Silver ACE Designation from National Association of Community Health Centers
Tandem Health is proud to announce that it has achieved Silver status in the Advocacy Center of Excellence (ACE) Program through the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).
Earning Silver ACE status reflects a strong and sustained commitment to advocacy and demonstrates that Tandem Health has made this work an organizational priority. With this designation, Tandem Health joins an elite group of Community Health Centers (CHCs) nationwide recognized as models of advocacy excellence.
What It Means to Be an ACE
An Advocacy Center of Excellence (ACE) is a Community Health Center that fosters a culture of advocacy to ensure policymakers at all levels of government remain committed to investing in the affordable, equitable, and innovative care health centers provide. ACE health centers actively partner with NACHC on federal policy issues and collaborate with their state Primary Care Association (PCA) on key local and state policy matters impacting health centers and their patients.
The ACE Program’s overarching goal is to demonstrate meaningful engagement with elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels. By achieving Silver status, Tandem Health has shown consistent advocacy engagement and leadership, positioning the organization as a champion for the patients and communities it serves.
Strengthening Advocacy Nationwide
Community Health Centers make up the largest network of primary care providers in America. As federal and state budget priorities continue to shift, it is critical for health centers to rally support and promote access to comprehensive, high-quality care. Through the ACE Program, Tandem Health reinforces its commitment to ensuring its patients and community have a strong voice in critical policy decisions.
In addition to national recognition, ACE designation provides access to an exclusive nationwide network of peer advocacy leaders. Advocacy coordinators at ACE health centers are invited to quarterly webinars and collaborative discussions, strengthening collective impact across the country.
A Continued Commitment
There are three levels within the ACE Program—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—with each level recognizing increasing levels of engagement and organizational integration of advocacy efforts. Silver status affirms that Tandem Health has embedded advocacy into its mission and operations, demonstrating a clear dedication to standing up for Community Health Centers and the patients they serve.
