During these challenging times, the entire staff at Tandem Health remains committed to the health and well-being of our wonderful Sumter community. Tandem Health is able to offer our patients a remote virtual visit or telephone visit if you are unable to come to the center. As your trusted partner in health, we encourage you all to follow these tips to help keep you and your family healthy in the days and weeks to come. * Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds * Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth * Cough in to a tissue and throw the tissue away * Clean and disinfect frequently * Practice social distancing * Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.

Substance Use Disorder

Tandem Health offers an All in Recovery program.  This program offers patients treatment options for substance misuse/addictions relating to opioid and heroin addiction, as well as, alcohol and other drugs.  We offer a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for those patients in need of this treatment.  The program takes a holistic approach and combines medication assistance and counseling in order to support wellness beyond the addiction or misuse – we want people to get back to their normal lives.

Support resource services are offered to address barriers to long term recovery with daily necessities like housing, food, clothing, employment, and transportation.  When these challenges are reduced, sustained recovery is more likely.
The MAT program is available for those receiving primary care at Tandem Health. Ask your provider for a referral. Tandem Health All In Recovery also partners with local drug and alcohol commission agencies and other community partners.
