Tandem Health welcomes Takur Buck, MD, one of the new Family Medicine Residents, to the team.

Takur Buck, MD, brings a passion for whole-person care and a strong foundation in both emergency and internal medicine. He is one of the family medicine residents with the Family Medicine Residency program. This program is a collaborative partnership between Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, the USC School of Medicine and Tandem Health.

Dr. Buck completed medical school at Windsor University School of Medicine and is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Buck is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Buck enjoys weightlifting, connecting with friends from the Bahá’í community, and playing chess with his father. He values spiritual growth and is inspired by his faith in God, which also guides his sense of purpose in medicine. Though he doesn’t spend much time in the kitchen or in front of a screen, he finds joy in socializing and staying active. Known for his enthusiasm and positive energy, Dr. Buck strives to balance physical wellness with personal and spiritual development.
